Naryan Padmanabha is a fusion sitarist who blends Indian classical music with ambient textures, layered soundscapes and groove-driven rhythms.

Across a 30-year career, Naryan has built an extensive catalog of studio albums and live recordings while performing everywhere from intimate listening rooms and clubs to museums, galleries and festivals throughout North America. He has shared bills and stages with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, The String Cheese Incident, Bernie Worrell (Parliament-Funkadelic/Talking Heads) and Lotus.

His solo performances draw from world music, downtempo grooves and electronic textures, with heavy improvisation and a spontaneous, ever-evolving approach to the sitar.
